Assessment of macroeconomic influence of the EU funds.

The research developed methodology for assessing the influence of the EU funds to Latvian economy according to the specific situation of Latvia. 2 reports on the influence of the EU funds to Latvian economy have been drafted based in this methodology by analyzing several indicators and their interrelation, including per type of investment as well as possible macroeconomic risks. Summarization of data, analysis and modelling were performed within the scope of work. Two seminars were organized as result of the research.

Experts of Baltic Consulting Imants Ģērmanis and Daniels Jeļisejevs were involved in the research in cooperation with the Baltic International Centre of Economic and Political Studies (BICEPS). The research was performed in 2007-2008.
